Master ofJohn Carpenter also return to his masterpiece as Executive Producer, so diehard fans of the beloved franchise should be thrilled to hear that the new sequel is expected to stay true to his original vision. Filmmaker and actor Nick Castle, who initially portrayed Michael Myers in 1978, reprises his role as the masked killer in the new movie. James Jude Courtney will also play as “The Shape.”
