Are you tired of not getting more bang for your buck with your PlayStation 4 because there isn’t enough exclusive titles for it yet? If so, then we’ve got good news for you today that should get rid of some regret you may have with your PS4.
Bloodborne, an exclusive PS4 title that was once rumored to be an upcoming sequel to Demon’s Souls is now confirmed to be a non-cross-generation game. According to the game’s Hidetaka Miyazaki, he said that Bloodborne requires more power than the dated Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 can handle. Graphically, Bloodborne can only look good on the PS4.
I always wanted to make a game set in the Victorian era, but to make it look good—with all the clothing and the architecture and things—required a console more powerful than the ones that were around. The arrival of the PS4 finally gave us that, Bloodborne isn’t a game that could have been cross-generation, it was only possible on PS4.
Its unfortunate news for fans who previously played Dark Souls and Dark Souls 2 on the Xbox 360 andbecause I’m sure they were really looking forward to Bloodborne. But it sounds like PS4 owners will have some relief here.
Bloodborne launches on February 6, 2014 in North American, aversion gets released a day before.
