Those of you who entirely skipped Resident Evil Revelations because you didn’t have the right console to play it at the time of its release will now have the chance to experience a remastered version of the game.
That’s right! The acclaimed survival horror title, which originally released on Nintendo 3DS in early 2012 has been updated for current generation consoles such as PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
The remastered edition which will feature a smoother 1920×1080 resolution, an improved framerate, increased environmental detail and refined creature movement, defining the best-looking version of the game to date. On top of that, all downloadable content previsouly released is also included in the game as unlockable rewards. So you won’t miss a single pixel of Resident Evil Revelations.
The Resident Evil sequel takes place between the events of Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil 5. The story of the game follows series protagonists Jill Valentine and Chris Redfield as they try to stop a bioterrorist organization from infecting the Earth’s oceans with a virus.
Resident Evil Revelations launches in North America on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One August 29 for $19.99. A Nintendo Switch release of both Resident Evil Revelations and its follow up Resident Evil Revelations 2 will be available in Late 2017.
