It’s one thing to look good as a female band, but it’s another to sound good. And when both come together at the same time, well, there’s no telling where the ride will end. Given the metal and rock culture of Sweden, we’re convinced that we live in the wrong fucking country.
Sweden’s all-female hard rock/metal group, Crucified Barbara, has announced an initial batch of North American tour-dates that’ll start later this month. CrashDiet and Snakeskyn Whiskey will accompany Crucified Barbara, who will be touring in support of their third full-length record, The Midnight Chase. The album was released last summer on Nuclear Blast. Additional tour dates will be announced soon.
Formed in Stockholm in 1998 by bassist Ida Evileye and guitarist Klara Force, Crucified Barbara plays a fiery brand of rock ‘n’ roll tinged with metal and lashings of punk, pop, thrash, and more.
