Karkaos is another of the suffering Montreal-based bands who are struggling with vocalist issues, joining the likes of The Agonist and BornBroken. However, after losing Veronica O. Rodriquez, who held down vocal duties on 2011’s Burning Skies and 2014’s Empire, the melodic death metal band has signed on Viky Boyer, who will make her stage debut with the band on November 28th, at Petit Cafe Campus, in Montreal. Karkaos will be joining Märchenbilder, Instanzia, and At Dawn’s Edge in the night’s lineup.
Karkaos has already announced Boyer as their new vocalist and have re-recorded the track “Leap of Faith” from Empire to show off her skills. Get a taste of it for yourself in the player above.
