From meeting at a birthday to playing on the streets of New York to playing various music festivals, Unlocking the Truth is taking the world by storm. A trio of young teens who’ve since their inception have garnered the attention of Metallica, so much so that Metallica requested UTT’s presence at Heavy Montreal.
Unlocking the Truth has just recently signed to Sony, and their debut EP is expected to drop this fall. The contract they signed isn’t very lucrative, but if all goes well, they’ll get a hefty advance for their debut full-length. I think there’s a big future for this band.
The boys are still young and their attention span is apporpriately short, so we kept the interview sort and to the point, and hopefully relevant to their interests. Enjoy it.
