With The Walking Dead, Season 5 wrapped up, it’s time to start pushing the show’s spin-off series, Fear The Walking Dead! And we gotta say that judging from the series premiere trailer (in the player above) Fear The Walking Dead looks like it’s going to be pretty damn interesting, not to mention exciting.
Fear The Walking Dead debuts in summer 2015, which should satiate the hunger for The Walking Dead during its off-season.
At the time of its launch back in 2010, The Walking Dead was a breath of fresh air with its post-outbreak story of survival, answering that question zombie fans have long wondered: What happens after the outbreak and the first wave of survivors? Now, with Fear The Walking Dead, we get to go back to a different region of the United States, Los Angeles to be exact, and see what happened as the outbreak happened. No doubt it’s going to be full of action and chaos!
Starring in the new series are Cliff Curtis, Kim Dickens, Frank Dillane, and Alycia Debnam Carey. Executive producing for AMC are Robert Kirkman, Gale Anne Hurd, Greg Nicotero, and David Alpert from The Walking Dead. Dave Erickson, who co-created and co-wrote the pilot with Kirkman, is an executive producer and showrunner.
