Ashley Nicole is a beautiful alternative bombshell from Manchester, New Hampshire. When this gorgeous gal is not modeling she spends her time listening to Breaking Benjamin and Linkin Park and studying child psychology! When she is modeling she is busy gracing the pages of Delicious Dolls Magazine, Peepshow PinUp Magazine, Alt Girls Magazine, and many more! I had a blast doing this interview and I hope you’ll take a moment to check it out and show this chick some love and support.

Can you introduce yourself to our readers?
Hello! My name is Ashley and in the modeling field, I go by Ashley Nicole Alt/Pin Up Model. I am a Pennsylvania girl thriving up north in New Hampshire with my two babies (my cats) and my wonderful boyfriend, Bryce. I currently work in Manchester Adult Life Styles and Spider Bite tattoo shop when I’m not modeling. I am obsessed with colorful wigs, make-up, shoes, and criminal profiling! In my spare time, I have started studying child psychology and would love to become a wedding planner as well.

When did you start modeling and what was it that made you want to do it?
When I was younger, I used to watch America’s Next Top Model with my best friend and we would have these hilarious mock shoots where we would shoot each other with whatever camera we could get ahold of. I finally dipped my feet in the industry when I was 18. I did my first pin up shoot with a local female photographer and she highly encouraged me to get out and shoot again. The rest is history!

To be a successful model requires lots of stuff, perhaps a gorgeous face, hot body, and lots of time and nerves to get the name out; what’s the secret?
You have to be completely and totally dedicated to your trade. When you first start out you will need lots of money to get a good portfolio, wardrobe, hours of driving, hair/make-up artists, and so on. It can seem overwhelming at times, but it is so rewarding to see your images published because of how hard you have worked.

What was the hardest part in getting into the business?
Where I was living was definitely a challenge for me. I wasn’t close to a big city such as New York, so finding work was hard. If I wasn’t driving hours to shoot a trade shoot, I wasn’t working at all.

What drew you into the alternative scene and what inspires you to this day?
My favorite thing about the alternative scene is how different we can all be from each other. I love that I can have as many tattoos, piercings, and crazy hair styles as I want and still be considered beautiful.

I’m pretty sure that you are very creative person. Do you give some ideas to your photographers about a photosession (the creative part) or do you keep it professional and follow their vision?
Normally all my shoots vary. Some photographers I work with want me to just follow their lead while others want me to take control of the creative process. I find a lot of my inspiration comes from other images that I see and can put my own spin on them.

What is your favorite genre of fashion? Why?
Oh, this is a hard one, haha. My favorite would probably have to be latex. There’s nothing better than a well-made latex dress on a beautiful woman!

How would you describe your style?
I like to mix my style up. I gravitate towards very feminine pieces but like to throw a little bit of edge in the outfit as well. I like to think that I have so many unique pieces of wardrobe to choose from at this point that my style is limitless.

I’ve noticed lots of cool ink on your body. When did you get your first tattoo and what was it?
My mom actually let me get my first tattoo from her personal artist when I was 17. It was a small outline of a heart (I have an obsession with hearts) with blood dripping from it. I loved it but covered it up a year later with a bigger piece.

Guide me a bit in your inked madness. What’s your next piece of ink going to be?
That’s a really hard question… I have so many ideas floating around in my head that need to be transferred onto my skin. I would love to start my sleeves but I am leaning towards doing my unicorn skeleton on my left thigh first.
