It’s not the hall of fame for music, but the Buffalo Music Hall of Fame is a notable one with inductees ranging from the Goo Goo Dolls to Billy Sheehan to 10,000 Maniacs. Among the class of 2013, is Alex Webster, Paul Mazurkiewicz, and Rob Barrett of Cannibal Corpse, who returned home to attend the 31st annual event on October 3rd in Buffalo, New York.
Too bad they weren’t among the bands invited to perform. Man, that would have been something to see… Cannibal Corpse violating the ear holes of many who are of a more conservative ilk. Let’s just be thankful that death metal has been honored.
Cannibal Corpse will be wrapping up their 25th anniversary celebrations for 2013 with a pair of shows in Florida, which has served as the band’s base of operations since relocating to Tampa from Buffalo in 1994. The shows are scheduled for November 29th in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, at the Culture Room and November 30th in Tampa, Florida, at the Brass Mug. Tickets are on sale now at ticketmaster.com for the Culture Room and details on how to purchase tickets for the Brass Mug are on showclix.com.
