In the event that you’re unfamiliar with Megadeth, Slayer, Voivod, Disturbed, Rob , Anvil, Alice Cooper, Rob Halford, Fear Factory, Melissa Auf Der Maur, and much, much more; we’re anxious to know who is on the 2011 lineup., it’s a two-day metal fest that attracts the biggest of the big. Past performers include Iron Maiden, Motley Crue, Anthrax,
For each of the previous two years of Heavy MTL, two of us here athave made the pilgrimage to Parc Jean-Drapeau in Montreal, Quebec, and we’ve been nothing but impressed with only good things to say after the fact. We highly recommend that you find a way to check out the fest.
While Heavy MTL is a one-city stop, and we’re obviously fans of it, it was also initially our surrogate for the touring festival known as Gigantour. We’re also happy to announce that, after being off the grid since 2008, Gigantour will get a reboot in 2011. We’re dead-set on keeping you updated as more news regarding Heavy MTL comes in, so keep coming back to Yell! Magazine for the latest.
