If you’re like me, Season 1 of Guillermo del Toro‘s FX series The Strain really piqued your interest. As such, you’re probably stoked that Season 2 is on it’s way, and that there’s a new trailer out for the show.
Sure, some of you might have felt that Season 1 was lacking in certain departments, such as action or a familiar sort of vampires. Instead, we got a lot of vampire minions that acted more like zombies that behaved more like army ants than blood-thirsty ghouls. But we also got a killer story, if you dismiss the fact that New Yorkers seem oblivious to the outbreak. Nonetheless, what we’re seeing in the trailer should clear up any concerns you might have; it looks violently full of action!
The Strain Season 2 gets underway on July 12th, at 10 p.m.
