There are many gamers who complain that Capcom is too focused on bringing back old games from the grave. In the case of Resident Evil, however, complainers should let this one go because the high-definition makeover of the game is looking freagin awesome so far.
Based on the latest batch of screenshots above, it’s hard to tell that Resident Evil came out over 15 years ago. Capcom did a fantastic job of enhancing the graphics and reworking the 3-D models using the newest technology. Besides beautiful visuals at 1080p, Capcom has also significantly improved the sound of the game with 5.1 surround support for a greater gaming atmosphere.
Personally, I’m amazed by how good RE looks here and can’t wait to get my hands on it early next year. The remastered version will be available digitally for the PC, PS3, PS4, XBox 360, and XBox One.
