by Add Naked Zombie Girl to our list of movies to see based on their crazy titles. I’m not sure a movie title gets any more perfect than that. It already includes three crucial words to anyone’s vocabulary and adding “bloody” or “sexy” would just be showing off.
Everything in this trailer, from the music to the narration to the sound effects to the cinematography just looks abso-fuckin’-lutely amazing. Add the facts that the zombies and prosthetics look amazing (thanks, Nick Reisinger: Grimm, The Lackey, Jack The Reaper, Delirium, and Scary or Die) and Barbara (Meghan Chadeayne) looks pretty good naked and covered in blood, and you have a hit short film on your hands.
Hectic Films, the production company behind Naked Zombie Girl, just announced the IndieGoGo Campaign for the film, which means it needs your help. Naked Zombie Girl synopsis:
Naked Zombie Girl is a short film inspired from grindhouse horror films. The story follows Barbara, Tony, and Jill as they barely escape with their lives just three days after the infection takes over most of the population.
Barbara drives an old Cadillac down a two-lane highway, nervously smoking a cigarette. Jill sits in the backseat frantically looking at Tony, who has a bite mark on his arm oozing black liquid. He starts sweating heavily. He tries to grab their gun; they’ve all seen what happens when you get bitten. Barbara tries to keep control of their car while trying to get the gun from Tony. She notices a zombie in the road and quickly swerves out of the way. The car starts to smoke, and Barbara glances around the area. She realizes that they’re in the middle of nowhere, with nothing in sight but an old shack. While she’s distracted, Tony succeeds in shooting himself. The sound of the gunshot attracts the zombies in the area. In a matter of seconds, Jill and Barbara find themselves surrounded.
