Yesterday evening, CBS announced that Under the Dome, a sci-fi thriller series based Stephen King’s bestselling novel of the same name is coming to an end this month. Its sad news for fans expecting to see a fourth season, however there’s also some good news to because the show won’t end without answering a few mysterious questions.
According to the press release, the series finale will answer many questions about the Dome’s origin and power after it comes down, as two groups of residents engage in one final conflict that some won’t survive.
Nina Tassler, Chairman, CBS Entertainment said,
We’re excited to present the final chapter in Chester’s Mill as the story comes full circle, with the Dome coming down as dramatically as it went up.
The shows finale will air on Thursday, September 10, 2015 on CBS. Unlimited streaming of all three seasons of Under the Dome will be available on Amazon’s Prime Video, which has been the exclusive subscription video on demand (SVOD) home for Dome since the show premiered.
