It’s finally here! Well, almost (June 11 is the release date), but you can stream the new Black Sabbath for free over at iTunes.
I think by now we’ve all heard “God Is Dead?” and I have to say that “End of the Beginning” sounds like pure metal bliss. This Black Sabbath has definitely shifted toward an Ozzy sound, but it’s still undeniably Sabbath Bloody Sabbath. I couldn’t be happier for the old bastards, either. So often these reunion things look like a great idea on paper, but when it comes to the actual product they flaunder. My early impressions here don’t see failure.
