Eddie Alvarez Settlement With Bellator Finally Reached, Returns To The Cage Nov. 2

An eight month contract dispute between the 2nd largest MMA promotion Bellator and former lightweight champion Eddie Alvarez is finally over, according to announcement made on Tuesday.

Alvarez explains his situation with Bellator MMA in the video interview above that was released by Alexandra Robinson, daughter of Blackzilians founder Glenn Robinson. Alvarez also explains that a settlement was reached between both parties and that he is looking forward to fight again inside the cage.

I couldn’t be happier right now…I’m happy to put my name on the dotted line and move forward with my career.

Although, it was his dream to fight for the title in the UFC, Alvarez officially resigned with Bellator and his first fight is coming up very soon, and it won’t be a free one on Spike TV. In fact, he is back in business on Nov. 2 in the first Bellator pay-per-view fight card, a rematch with lightweight champion Michael Chandler.

The event is headlined by Tito Ortiz vs. Rampage Jackson at a cost that shouldn’t exceed the $50 price point.
