If you love soundtracks, specifically the one created by horror master John Carpenter for Halloween, then your ears will definitely enjoy today’s music track.
This Friday the 13th, Trent Reznor and longtime partner Atticus Ross released a creepy cover of the Halloween theme, which is packed with the usual synthesizers and eerie sounds. The track comes just in time to celebrate the Halloween season and also help serve as a companion piece to Carpenter’s upcoming album, Anthology: Movie Themes 1974–1998, featuring themes from 13 of his films.
Sacred Bones Records will release the entire album on October 20th. In addition, Carpenter is currently preparing for a live music tour that will begin on October 29th.
