For those who still have some doubt on Conor McGregor’s boxing skills can now watch an entire media workout, including released footage of him sparring with former WBA and IBF champion Paulie Malignaggi.
As many of you already know, an image of a knock down sparked controversy last week when Malignaggi claimed he was pushed and not dropped. But the videos released by UFC President Dana White prove otherwise. Malignaggi was indeed knock down in sparring and it appears like McGregor got the better of him in the final round.
At the moment, the full unedited video has not been released so we can’t really tell how things went for McGregor in the earlier rounds. Based on images, Malignaggi does have more bruises on his face, which are most likely due to McGregor’s heavy blows and jabs during sparring. Malignaggi left McGregor’s camp after the images was leaked online.
