Lake Bodom Now Streaming On Shudder [VIDEO]

Following a well-received screening at the festival circuit earlier this year, Lake Bodom is now streaming exclusively on Shudder. For those of you not familiar with the film it’s a modern take on old school slashers from Finland.

Four teens visit Lake Bodom to recreate a brutal murder which took place in the ‘60s. However someone else has other intentions for them and as usual in a film like this things get extremely ugly.

Every camper’s worst nightmare came true at Lake Bodom in 1960 when four teenagers were stabbed to death while sleeping in their tent. As the years passed and the case grew cold, the unsolved mystery turned into an urban legend, a creepy campfire story passed from generation to generation. Now, a group of teenagers arrives at the same campsite, hoping to solve the murder by reconstructing it minute by minute. As night falls, turns out not all of them are there to play.

Directed by Taneli Mustonen, Lake Bodom stars Nelly Hirst-Gee, Mimosa Willamo, Mikael Gabriel, and Santeri Mäntylä Helinheimo.

You can check it out Shudder, an over-the-top on demand service featuring horror films operated by AMC.
