There’s a little over two weeks left before the first live-action version of Ghost in the Shell finally hits the big screen. Paramount Pictures has unleashed a clip to help tie in the wait until the big release date this month.
As many of you already know Scarlett Johansson stars as the one-and-only cyborg counter-cyberterrorist field commander. The new clip from the film shows how deadly Major’s (Johansson) combat skills are and how effective her camosuit can be under dangerous circumstances.
When terrorism reaches a new level that includes the ability to hack into people’s minds and control them, Major is uniquely qualified to stop it. As she prepares to face a new enemy, Major discovers that she has been lied to: her life was not saved, it was stolen. She will stop at nothing to recover her past, find out who did this to her and stop them before they do it to others.
Directed by Rupert Sanders, Ghost in the Shell also stars Pilou Asbæk, Takeshi Kitano, Michael Pitt, and Juliette Binoche. The film hits theaters nationwide on March 31, 2017, in REALD 3D and IMAX 3D.
