On December 9th, USADA conducted an out-of-competition drug test and it appears like “The Warmaster” may have failed it.
Josh Barnett, 39, has recently been flagged by USADA and is facing a anti-doping violation. The former UFC heavyweight champion has been tested over 10 times this year. Earlier this month, Barnett tested positive for a banned substance, which at the moment has been disclosed by the UFC.
The American mixed martial artist has had a history of failed drug tests, dating back to 2001 and most famously known for falling a drug test in 2009 when he was supposed to face Fedor Emelianenko at Affliction: Trilogy.
USADA will run the adjudication process and determine Barnett’s sanction in the not too distant future.
