For a while now, there’s been talk of remaking 1994’s Alex Proyas-directed cult classic The Crow. And there seems to be a revolving door of who’s taking the lead in various regards. At one point Tom Hiddleston was set to star as Eric Draven, but about a year ago that changed to Luke Evans. Also, F. Javier Gutierrez was set to helm the film until it was reported today that music Corin Hardy will know sit in the director’s chair. Deadline is reporting that Gutierrez has moved on to direct The Ring 3D.
Hardy will see his full-feature film, The Hallow, released next year. Prior to that he’s done very little, but he did direct The Prodigy’s “Dance” music video.
