Besides being an excellent fight card from start to finish, UFC 178 had its rounds of controversy, especially in the fight between Tim Kennedy and Yoel Romero. In the last few seconds of the second round in the fight, Kennedy put a vicious beating on Romero, nearly winning the middleweight bout by TKO. But the confusion started right after Romero survived the horn, he stayed seated on the bench almost 30 seconds more to recover. Kennedy subsequently lost the fight via third-round TKO. Dana White called it the dirtiest trick in the book.
Above is the full confrontation backstage between Kennedy and Romero, which was released by thetoday.
