It has been a long while since we made any news announcement about the Carrie remake, starring Chloë Grace Moretz (Carrietta White) and Julianne Moore (Margaret White), and it appears that MGM/Screen Gems has changed the North American release to October 18, 2013. Moving it out of the prom season and into the season to give Carrie a better box office performance than the originally scheduled date, which was slated to open in theaters on March 15. With this new date, it crowns Carrie ahead of the release of Paranormal Activity 5 for Halloween, but against another film that stars Julianne Moore titled The Seventh Son.
Since this new date hasn’t been officially confirmed yet, our question now is, will this change really impact the numbers and draw in a bigger audience for Carrie? Answer below in our comment section.
