Godzilla outperformed at the box office this weekend, earning nearly $200 million globally. With numbers like that Warner Bros. and Legenday Pictures are already moving forward with a sequel. That’s right! Godzilla 2 is happening and you can expect the Toho monster to return to the big screen around 2016, or slightly earlier if all goes as planned.
There’s no word yet on who will be involved in the sequel, but we’ll let Yellers know in the very near future. So stay tuned!
