WolfCop

After being acquired by Image Entertainment at Cannes earlier this year and after months and months of running the festival circuit, WolfCop may possibly have a U.S. release date set in stone. According to the fantastic folks at Blu-ray.com, the Canadian horror film which is destined for cult glory is expected to drop on home video on January 20, 2015. The timing sounds a bit odd, but it is subject to change since there aren’t any official details yet.

WolfCop was written and directed by Lowell Dean. It stars Jesse Moss, Amy Matysio, Jonathan Cherry, Sarah Lind, Aidan Devine, Corrine Conley and Leo Fafard as WolfCop / Lou Garou.

Based on the positive reaction to the film, a sequel to WolfCop was announced before the original was released. The director said it will be “dirtier and harrier than the first one.”
