There’s definitely a market right now for horror anthologies and Vertical Entertainment and XYZ Films are embracing the need with a new one simply titled as Holidays. However, this anthology will feature a uniquely dark and original spin on some of the most iconic and beloved holidays of all time. Holidays will challenge our folklore, traditions and assumptions, making the film a celebration of the horror on those same special days’ year after year.
The film will feature some of Hollywood’s most distinct director, such as Kevin Smith (Tusk), Gary Shore (Dracula Untold), Scott Stewart (Dark Skies), Kevin Kolsch and Dennis Widmyer (Starry Eyes), Sarah Adina Smith (TheMidnight Swim), Nicholas McCarthy (The Pact) Adam Egypt Mortimer (Some Kind of Hate) and Anthony Scott Burns (Darknet).
Holidays is scheduled for release on digital and VOD platforms on April 15th, followed by a theatrical release beginning April 22nd.
