Here’s the teaser trailer for the upcoming horror movie from writers/directors Chris Lofing and Travis Cluff, The Gallows, and I can’t help the feeling that I’ve seen this before. Oh, wait, it’s coming back now, oh, yeah, it was The Blair Witch Project, right down to the up-the-snotty-nose shot. In fact, let’s just say it looks similar to all the other found-footage horror movies in existence as well. Oh, given the plot synopsis, there might also be a bit of Carrie contained in The Gallows as well.
The Gallows Synopsis:
Twenty years after an accident caused the death of the lead actor during a high school play, students at the same small town school resurrect the failed stage production in a misguided attempt to honor the anniversary of the tragedy—but ultimately find out that some things are better left alone.
The Gallows stars Cassidy Gifford, Ryan Shoos, Reese Mishler, and Pfeifer Brown.
