I’m not sure why Burnt Books is being promoted as “avant punk,” seeing as they sound more like indie/noise rock than anything else. Nonetheless, the South Carolina outfit has released a killer new track, “Stupid Game,” and it can be heard over at Cvlt Nation.
The track comes off the band’s recently completed second full-length, Where There’s Smoke There’s Fire, which will be released on March 20th, via Retro Futurist. Album pre-orders can be made here.
