Eleven years later, after the events of its predecessor, the death of Alice’s parents continues to haunt her severely, and the hallucinations have gotten worse. Now she’s back in Wonderland hoping for escape and recovery, but as she struggles with her insanity Alice will need to rescue her friends in Wonderland, and fight off the evil that is taking over. Her new adventure will also lead to the discovery of the cause of the death of her parents.
In this trailer, we see actual gameplay footage with new enemies, as well as old ones. The weapons look destructive and the environment is visually stunning. Hacking and slashing never looked so twisted and beautiful at the same time.
The official release date for Alice: Madness Returns is June 14, 2011.
