As you may well know, the iconic Bruce Campbell will lead the cast of Ash vs Evil Dead in the upcoming 10-episode first season coming to the STARZ network. Thirty years on, Ash is forced to grow up when a Deadite plague threatens to destroy mankind.
Today, STARZ revealed a teaser poster and trailer, both of which feature the same creepy-cool art. The teaser trailer will air on April 4th, during the Outlander premiere, at 9 p.m. ET/PT. But while Ash vs Evil Dead films in New Zealand, you’ll have to wait until late 2015 for the show’s premiere.
The cast also includes Lucy Lawless (Salem, Spartacus, Xena), Jill Marie Jones (Sleepy Hollow), Ray Santiago (Touch, Meet the Fockers), and Dana DeLorenzo (A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas). Sam Raimi will direct the first episode, which he co-wrote with Ivan Raimi, Craig DiGregorio, and Tom Specialy. Sam Raimi, Rob Tapert, Bruce Campbell, and Craig DiGregorio will executive produce.
