It’s true, Buckcherry has covered a pop song, but they’ve put their hallmark stamp on it and retitled it “Say Fuck It.” The new track made its debut today, and it comes off of Buckcherry’s forthcoming EP Fuck, a recording that’s about the infamous four-letter word. The EP is also the band’s debut on their very own F-Bomb Records label.

The Fuck EP comes out on August 19th. “Say Fuck It” is available now on iTunes and the record is available for pre-order at iTunes and in the band’s official store.
Frontman Josh Todd explains the EP’s premise:
We’ve been doing what we want for a long time — that’s what makes Buckcherry special, and I think that’s part of our charm and it’s worked for us and also against us at times. So why not do something that would be a record company nightmare and put it out for our first record (on F Bomb)? I was like, ‘Man, let’s make the Scarface of rock ‘n’ roll records. Let’s make the record with the most amount of ‘fuck’s in it and make a tribute to the word ‘fuck,’ but do it in a way that it’s still a good piece of product and it’s not silly. You could never do this on a major label, right? So I’m just glad we get to do whatever we want to do. That’s what true rock ‘n’ roll’s about, I think.
In my opinion this is just good old-fashioned fun rock and roll. The idea of an EP about dropping the f-word as often as possible is about two decades too late because its shock value has become diluted, but whatever. It’s still bound to get some panties in a wad.
