Today Capcom announced a Resident Evil-themed third-person shooter called Umbrella Corps, a fast paced multiplayer which pits a special forces teams against each other, and of course hordes of zombies. A first-look trailer gives us an early taste at the intense team-based matches in compact battle zones themed from historic Resident Evil environments. Players will be equipped with gun and grenade based weaponry as well as specialized gear that add an extra layer of Resident Evil flair to the action.
Umbrella Corps features a variety of unique close quarter battle modes. In the One Life Match mode, players must achieve their main objective to take down the other team without any option to re-spawn.
The game hits store shelves some time in 2016 in North America and Europe for the PlayStation 4 and PC.
