Bloodborne is an upcoming action RPG for the PlayStation 4, which takes place in the Victorian era. The player plays as a hunter that must navigate the streets of Yharnam and overcome its violently deranged inhabitants and horrifying monsters in order to survive. Thanks to Prodigious on YouTube, we have an hour of alpha gameplay footage of the game for you to look at today. Obviously, Bloodborne hasn’t gone gold yet, so expect the game to look and play better once it’s officially released early next year.
Bloodborne is currently being developed by renowned Japanese developer FromSoftware, who previously worked on Demon’s Souls and Dark Souls. According to them, the game isn’t connected with Demon’s Souls because Sony wanted a completely new IP for the PS4.
It launches on February 6, 2015 in North America.
