UFN48 - Michael Bisping

If you happen to sleep in this morning, then you missed the one-sided defeat of Cung Le at UFC Fight Night 48 in Macau, China.

English mixed martial artist Michael Bisping picked up his 15th win within the UFC since his 2006 debut. The very first round of the main event was evenly matched, but things started to get ugly for Le in the second round after Bisping closed his right eye with a legitimate punch. Le’s left eye was also cut open, which required the ringside physician to evaluate it. The eye was cleared, however, Le had trouble seeing throughout the remainder of the fight. In the third and fourth round, Bisping applied consistent pressure and eventually let loose with hand combinations.

The referee had no choice, but to stop the fight after Le hit the ground at the 57 second mark of the fourth round. Bisping won the fight by TKO and earned himself a 50k bonus award for Performance of the Night.
