You get The Sacrament, a shocking new horror film that is considered “one of the darkest portrayals of humanity ever put to screen,” according to MovieRehab. The Sacrament takes multiple elements from real life events, such as the Jonestown Massacre of 1978, which is an event viewed by many as the largest mass murder by a religious/socialist group in American history.
The Sacrament drops in theaters for a limited time on June 6th, but you can watch it now on digital services and VOD. Expect the Blu-ray/DVD release to be announced shortly.
