[PIC] Yell This! Terminator Reboot Release Date Delayed

Arnold Schwarzenegger - Terminator 5

Paramount just announced that the first installment of the new Terminator trilogy has been delayed a week (to July 1, 2015), and I’m thinking that it’s director James Cameron trying to prevent Arnold Schwarzenegger from playing in the planned reboot. I’m kidding, of course, but it is pretty funny that there is another rumor floating around about Schwarzenegger appearing in the first Avatar sequel. In somewhat of a twist in his character type, Arnie would play “a bad guy human general” similar to Stephen Lang’s character in the first film.

Arnold Schwarzenegger - Avatar 2

With the new date change for Terminator, the film which will be directed by Alan Taylor from a screenplay by Laeta Kalorgridis and Patrick Lussier, is now stacked to go up against Independence Day 2, which is kind of ridiculous and risky in my opinion.

Expect much more announcements to come from the studios involved. Hopefully those rumors will be squashed very soon.
