Check out the new poster for Canadian filmmaker Tim Hannigan’s upcoming anthology horror, Heinous Acts. It looks totally low budget and the poster, while it gets its point across, lacks a certain artistic flare. But you know what they say: Don’t judge a book by its cover.
Right now, details are scarce, but word is that the film brings something new to the table while being inspired by classic anthology horror such as Tales From The Crypt, Creepshow, and Tales From the Darkside The Movie. Accordingly, Hannigan also felt inspired by some of the haunting episodes of The Twilight Zone and Alfred Hitchcock Presents.
Heinous Acts Synopsis:
A small town police force has investigated some of the most unspeakable crimes imaginable. When the department’s file clerk breaks into the evidence room to show the files to the new cleaning girl she is completely unprepared for the depravity that follows.
