Paranormal Activity 5: The Ghost Dimension Rumored To Be In 3-D

Paranormal Activity 5: The Ghost Dimension in 3D

I’m not sure how interesting 3-D will be for the Paranormal franchise considering the franchise’s history of a low-fi presentation. About all I can see happening is a bunch of stuff being thrown at the screen to cause the audience to jump, and that’s going to get tired after about five minutes. Nonetheless, Bloody Disgusting is reporting that Paramount Pictures’ Paranormal Activity 5: The Ghost Dimension will get the 3-D treatment in post.

Not only that, but the studio has put the film on the fast track and filming has begun in order to get it to the screen on its originally intended March 13, 2015, release date.

BD is also speculating that the upcoming Friday the 13th release could also be in 3-D since Paramount is playing with the tech for Paranormal Activity 5. Now, 3-D for Friday the 13th makes sense! Because it’s been done before and is part of the franchise’s legacy.

How do you guys feel about Paranormal Activity 5: The Ghost Dimension being released in 3-D? Do you even care about this franchise?
