Head on over to Cvlt Nation for a dose of heavy mid-’90s thunder, not unlike Clutch or Helmet. Tampa’s Meatwound delivers a unique and pulsating blend of punk, death metal, thrash metal, hardcore, and, to put it generically, alt metal, and it can be heard in the perfection that is “Funeral State.”
The track comes from Meatwound’s forthcoming debut, Addio, which will be released on July 17th (digitally), via Magic Bullet Records. On July 24th, the album will be released on CD and on red or black vinyl.
