Machete Kills will be here in less than a week, on October 11, and we’ve got a new trailer and character posters to gawk at. This new clip features the new track from Lady Gaga, “Aura,” as well as some of her footage.
Besides Lady Gaga, the list of stars, which I’m sure you already know about, is phenomenal: Danny Trejo, Michelle Rodriguez, Sofia Vergara, Amber Heard, Charlie Sheen, Lady Gaga, Antonio Banderas, Jessica Alba, Demián Bichir, Vanessa Hudgens, Cuba Gooding, Jr., William Sadler, Marko Zaror, and Mel Gibson. Yeah, wrap your head around that.
However, if you thought the previous film failed to capture what the fake trailer did, then I’m sure you’re hating the hype Machete Kills is getting. I’m certain that it will be fun and entertaining, but I have a feeling that the originality will be even more watered down. But only viewing it will confirm my assumptions. Judging from the trailers, yes, the elements from the original genre of the ’70s are present, but it just seems too glossy and too full of big names.
Nonetheless, it’s an orgasm for the eyes how stunning the film looks. Also stunning are the two new character posters for Alexa Vega as Killjoy and Amber Heard as Ms. San Antonio. Check ‘em out below.
