Independent producer, director, screenwriter, and actor Lloyd Kaufman from Troma Entertainment could be considered a Montrealer since he always manages to drop into town every year in some shape or form. He usually pit stops with longtime friend Toxie, and occasionally with a few air conditioner units from Tromaville. Kaufman took part in the Fantasia Film Festival earlier this month to feature the world premiere of his slapstick satire Return to Nuke ‘Em High Volume 1, which we plan on dropping a review for it soon, including a killer video interview we did with him and star of the film Catherine Corcoran. We had blast talking with both of them at the event, and now we’re looking forward Kaufman again.
Earlier this morning, the Montreal Horrorfest officially announced that Kaufman will be a guest of the ever-growing Comiccon annual convention in Montreal. According to the site, he will be available to chat all week-end long in English and in French, of course.
The Montreal Comiccon runs from September 13-15, 2013 at the Palais des congrès.
