New Gameplay Footage For Overwatch Released From Blizzard

Brand new gameplay footage has been released for Blizzard’s freshly announced online team-based shooter, Overwatch.

The MOBA like video game hit center stage at Blizzcon 2014 over the weekend. Overwatch focuses heavily on team play with an array of different and unique characters, each with their own abilities and roles. Players can switch between characters in-game following deaths—a mechanism which is encouraged by the game’s overall design. Think of Pixar meets Team Fortress 2 and DOTA 2.

Overwatch is scheduled to enter an open beta phase in early 2015.
