In anticipation of the release of the American duo’s new album, V., The Flight of Sleipnir has launched the lyric video for the track “Gullveig.” V. will be released via Napalm Records on November 24th (U.S./CAN) and December 1st (UK).
The album is described as a mix of stoner rock, doom metal, and folk metal with a taste of old fairy tales. It sounds like an odd mix, but after listening to “Gullveig” you’ll agree that it absolutely works. The track is mostly acoustic backed by a folky/traditional percussion and rhythm section, while the lyrics are an occult blend of black metal and clean vocal styles.
