On the off chance that you needed more proof of Faith No More‘s dominance, the band has posted a live video for the single, “Superhero.” If this is an indication of what we already knew, Faith No More kills live! The video was filmed at The Fillmore in Detroit, on May 8th.
The band’s first album in nearly two decades, Sol Invictus, was released in May and landed at #6 on the Billboard Top Albums chart, as well as in the Top 10 on most international charts (#2 in Australia, #4 in Germany, and #6 in the UK to name a few).
Founder and bassist, Bill Gould said of the album’s success:
What this tells me, is that there is a need out there; people want to hear things that exist outside the mold. It makes me feel grateful and it gives me hope.
