Earth Crisis Come “Out Of The Cages” To Deliver A Powerful Message

Earth Crisis, the Syracuse-based vegan straightedge hardcore pioneers, are delivering another powerful message that speaks to their cause. With the new song, and corresponding lyric video (in the player above) for “Out of the Cages,” Earth Crisis launch an attack against the food industry and animal rights.

Give us a like on Facebook, if you dare.

I’m not an advocate for animal rights, and I definitely don’t support PETA tactics, but I don’t like how the food industry treats animals and, in turn, how it treats us, the consumers. But let’s shift gears before this turns into something else

“Out of the Cages” comes from Earth Crisis’ seventh full-length album, Salvation of Innocents, which is scheduled to hit the streets on March 18th. With an album title like that, an incendiary lyric video, and a band mission like theirs, it’s safe to believe the band’s message when they say that the focal point of the album is aimed at ending human injustices toward animals and the environment.

Stated guitarist Scott Crouse of the track:

‘Out Of The Cages’ is one of my favorite songs on Salvation… Everyone watch the lyric video, and do your homework, because it’ll be a live set staple for sure.

Conceptually, Salvation Of Innocents is paired with a comic book by Black Mask Studios, founded by Matt Pizzolo (Occupy Comics) with partners Steve Niles (30 Days of Night) and Brett Gurewitz (Bad Religion) — entitled Liberator, which brings the book’s main character and the Salvation of the Innocents vivisection concept together in a commanding graphic landscape through original cover art from Chicago-based illustrator/painter Menton3 and additional illustrations by Rod Reis, Javier Aranda, and Joaquin Pereyra.

Pre-orders for the CD and LP versions of Salvation Of Innocents can be placed at: www.manicmusiconline.com
