Dead Sushi PosterDead Sushi had its world premiere on Sunday, July 22, 2012, at the Fantasia Film Festival in Montreal. The film was followed by a lively open public Q&A with director Noboru Iguchi (Zombie Ass, Mutant Girls Squad)-actress Rina Takeda, and executive producer Katsumi Otani.

Rina — who plays Keiko, the protagonist in Dead Sushi — also demonstrated her real karate skills with some deadly nunchucks. You can catch her in action at the very end of the video.

Dead Sushi is scheduled to be released in Japan sometime in October of 2012.
