After nearly a decade as a band, Hamilton, Ontario, melodic-hardcore group Counterparts is gearing up for what could well be one of their greatest releases yet. The band’s upcoming fourth studio album, Tragedy Will Find Us, is scheduled for release on July 24th, via Pure Noise Records and finds them at their most creative as they start their next chapter.

In anticipation for the upcoming release, Counterparts has teamed up with AltPress.com to premiere a new track “Tragedy.”

Tragedy Will Find Us is a record of redemption that marks a turning point for the band. Singer Brendan Murphy recently said the album represented him at rock bottom with nowhere to go but up. The intensity of that sentiment can be found throughout the record’s 11 songs, including hard-hitting new tracks “Burn” and “Collapse.”

Counterparts will embark on a month-long tour with Every Time I Die, Real Friends, Gnarwolves, Brigades, and Gatherers later this month. See the list of dates below.
