Activision confirmed today the Extinction mode for the upcoming Call of Duty: Ghosts, which hits streets on November 5th for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC, and Wii U. ( Call of Duty: Ghosts will launch later in the month for the Xbox One and PS4.) There was talk of the Extinction mode this past weekend when images and video of it surfaced — what else could Activision do.
What is Extinction mode? It’s a 1 to 4 player co-op mode that has you battling alien enemies while offering a “unique blend” of survival action, base defense, scavenging, and class-leveling. Also, Call of Duty: Ghosts‘ Extinction mode for adds to the game’s single-player campaign, standard head-to-head multiplayer mode, and Squads mode.
