Claptrap, our favorite CL4P-TP general purpose robot and all of Borderlands best personalities are making a comeback in HD. That’s right folks! 2K and Gearbox Software have just announced Borderlands: The Handsome Collection, a high-definition bundle that will includes both Borderlands 2 and Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel and all its classic DLC’s.
The bundle is slated for launch on March 24 in North America and follows an international release on March 27 for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. According to the announcement, previous Borderlands 2 and Pre-Sequel owners will be able to transfer over old save files from the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions. Just keep in mind the crossover will ONLY work on consoles within the same family.
Lastly, Borderlands: The Handsome Collection is expected to introduce a new multiplayer split-screen option that will allow up to four players to play the game on a single screen.
